We're at it again
Deerhold is the latest chapter in our story. It all started with a unique bond formed between two men from very different backgrounds who learned to work in synchrony—without ego, without conflict—grounded by their ability to appreciate each other's strengths while respecting each other's differences. This remarkable partnership is proof that when trust and complementary skills align, geography and cultural background cease to matter. 2001
D2Hawkeye is founded
Rudra and Jeff meet and, along with two others, co-found a pioneering healthcare analytics company called D2Hawkeye.
At a time when few believed Nepal would play a key role in global technology delivery, Rudra, takes the bold step to build out offshore operations in Kathmandu, laying the foundation for the country's rise as a hub for healthcare IT. Stateside, Jeff uses his sharp eye for strategy and business development to drive expansion in the U.S.
2008
D2Hawkeye exits
After growing into one of the most respected firms in its sector, D2Hawkeye achieves a successful exit.
2010
Deerwalk is founded
Rudra and Jeff reunite to co-found Deerwalk, which eventually becomes one of the most capable healthcare data and analytics companies in its market.
Once again, the two founders combine their complementary strengths—Jeff as CEO steering vision and client relationships, Rudra as Executive Chairman ensuring operational excellence and scaling a world-class engineering team in Nepal.
2020
Deerwalk exits
Deerwalk reaches a successful exit, after establishing a reputation for rapid product innovation and disciplined leadership.
2021
Deerhold is formed
Rudra and Jeff come together once again—this time to launch solutions leveraging newly-available healthcare price transparency data.
Powered by a seasoned group of leaders from Rudra and Jeff's earlier ventures, Deerhold becomes an early innovator in the healthcare price transparency space, transforming data — specifically from machine-readable files (MRFs) — into actionable intelligence that empowers TPAs, brokers, providers, and health plans.
